Facial

Was so depressed last Sunday and went for a facial to destress myself. Never know I'll end up spending about 1K that day...haven't count another 2 more installments to pay for the next 2 months. Why so much? I've signed up a course with this facial saloon. 13 times for RM1780.

I used to go for facial very often before having DS. My skin condition not that good, that's why facial is a way to maintain it, also a way to pamper myself a bit. Since pregnant, I have stop doing it.

Now, guess is time to pamper myself a bit and also start maintaining my skin again. AS age catching up, and also being a SAHM, I don't want to end up like a typical "wong min poh".

My hubby

I have a very supportive, caring and thoughtful husband. I considered myself lucky to have him although he is not those handsome, macho men that I've been dreaming of during my school days.

I feel that a blissful marriage does not drop from the sky. We cannot ask for it but we have to work hard for it. It takes tons of patience, tolerance, trust, honesty, commitmment and sacrifice to certain extent too. My DH has done it all....

What else can I ask for from him.....he is the best son, husband and father to all of us.

I love you, darling!

Maids...maids...

Can't really treat them too well...*a big sigh*....

My maid is just 3 months old. No doubt she is very good in doing her work but somehow will still do something to make me angry. We treated her like part of the family and talk to her like a friend. But somehow, they still want to do things behind us.

Just kena lecture from me last night. Scold them, afraid they don;t like it and do something bad on us; don't scold them, lagi cannot......she sneaked out yesterday and went to the back neighbour's house to chit chat with her Indo friend.

Tell me how to handle this kind of people..how only they'll understand what we do is for their and our good sake. They never understand....really heartsick..

Request automobile insurance quote online!

This morning went to the market and half way driving, realised that my road tax and car insurance have expired!!! Oh God....first thing in my mind, hope no road block from police. After reaching home, first thing I did was to contact my insurance agent to renew my insurance...bad luck I have..i was not able to contact them.

How I wish I can request a quote from Advantage Auto Quotes. By logging into the net, we can request Auto Insurance Application Quote Form and purchase Automobile Insurance Policy online. Not only that, the rates are so competitive that I can choose the Classic Car Liability Insurance Best for my car.

Better still, DH can request a business insurance from Advantage Auto Quotes too. Even if he has bad record, he is still able to purchase his insurance using Teen Driver Auto Policy. How good is that. Since everything is online, we do not need to waste our time talking and calling the insurance agent.

Blogvertise

Found another new site to make money...yeah..Blogvertise. By talking about their websites products and services in this blog, we'll get paid. However, this is a new blog, I am wondering will they approve my blog as I understand many required the blog to be at least 3 months old.

I just can't wait to blog for Blogvertise!!

Travel to Orlando!!

DH and I are planning for a holiday to overseas since DS is still young and can pass him on to my mil to take care. We've been weighing our options. Since DH met his sales target with his principle, they agreed to sponsor us a trip to the US.

DH suggested New York but I suggested ORLANDO ESCAPE. He asked me why and below are my reasons:

1.According to Carlson Wagonlit Travel's 2006 Travel Trends Survey, Orlando is the second most popular domestic travel destination in the country (Las Vegas placed first).

2.Out of the estimated 50 million tourists who visit Orlando each year, over 2 million are international visitors, with the majority of foreign tourists coming from the United Kingdom.

3.There are now 20,000 to 25,000 rental properties in Central Florida, mostly located near the theme parks.

4.The official nickname of the city of Orlando is “The City Beautiful,” although it is also known as “O-Town.”

5.Ever wonder why there are so many Olive Gardens and Red Lobsters in town? Orlando is the corporate headquarters of Darden Restaurants, which also runs the Bahama Breeze, Smokey Bones, and Seasons 52 restaurants.

6.Even though few people outside of Florida knew where Orlando was before Walt Disney World opened in 1971, the city of Orlando had been around for more than century before that; it was incorporated in 1875.

7.Orlando is the county seat of Orange County, Florida, although the vast citrus groves for which the county was named no longer exist.

8.Before there was Disney, there was also a considerable amount of cattle ranching in Central Florida; you can still see cattle grazing along certain stretches of the 417 GreeneWay Expressway.

9.Although many of Orlando’s citizens (especially the most famous ones) are originally from somewhere else, there are a few celebrities who were born and raised in Orlando, including Wayne Brady and Delta Burke.

10.Beat generation icon Jack Kerouac lived in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando during the time his novel On the Road was published in 1957.

So, Orlando is definately a right choice. Moreover, with orlandoescape.com, we may get FREE breakfast, Kids Eat FREE Programs (if we bring DS along), FREE transportation to attractions and 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed on selected hotels. Can't wait for the day to come.

Shopping

Love shopping nowadays. When weekend arrives, always look around for warehouse sales or think of things that we need to get and used that as an excuse to get DH to bring DS and me out for shopping.

Before DS was born, DH and I preferred to stay at home during weekend. I'd cook a sumptious meal for DH and rest and relax ourselves in our home sweet home. Since become a SAHM, I've turned into a shopaholic. Probably too bored staying at home for 5 full days and shopping is the only way I can go and see things. Also, time passed faster when out shopping.

Everytime we go out, we ended up spending few hundreds dollar, either on grocery or clothings or baby things. Guess it is not very healthy for our financial but it is a form of way to destress.

Maybe I should start looking around some healthy activity to do instead of just shopping...like swimming or visiting....let's see!!!

Wedding Favors

Jan called me just now and asked me whether can be her wedding planner. Her fiance is a caucasion and her future in-laws will be coming from the Sates to attend her wedding dinner here. She is having her wedding in Dec this year and held in one of the porch hotel in KL central. I was flattered when hearing that and I asked, "Why me?"

Well, I planned my wedding very well 5 years back. I searched about wedding themes in the internet and get ideas on how to make my wedding as memorable as possible, different from others and most of all, impressive to all my guest. I started planning and surveying 1 year before my wedding month. It was really hard work. Although there were many ideas I can find from the internet but to actually purchase and get those accessories are the thoughest one, especially in Malaysia. I can't seems to find a nice Guest book, candle holders, toasting glass, not to mention any nice gift for my guests. I ended up making it most of myself.

Today is different. I was telling Jan,
"You are lucky...go and visit this website..http://www.littlethingsfavors.com/. You'll be able to find 2,500 of wedding favors and wedding accessories in this site and the price are reasonable. You can get your wedding themes idea from the site and all the accessories will be able to match the theme selected. No need to strain your brain so much by thinking about the theme and design. Not only that, now they are offering 10% off purchases of 50.00 or more with coupon code: grandopening . Additionally they also offer FREE UPS Ground Shipping on orders shipped within the 48 US States. You can order online, enjoy the discount and get them shipped to your future in-laws place and get them to bring it here for you. It's so easy.

Little Things Wedding Favors also organizing a monthly prize drawing to win a gift certificate for $100.00 toward the purchase of wedding favors or wedding accessories. Who knows you might be the lucky bride here!!!"

Jan was so thankful that I share this piece of information with her. Hope she'll have the most romantic and impressive wedding in December.

An old woman

Went to pasar mini nearby my house to do some grocery shopping. In front of me was an old lady, aged around late 60s, together we were queuing at the cashier. After scanning all her items, she slowly took out her wallet. I noticed her hand was full of wrinkles and shaking. Slowly she took out RM50 and paid to the cashier. Then, she carried 2 big bags of grocery with her weakening hands.

I felt so heartbreaking seeing her. Where are her children? Who fetch her here and how come no one help her to carry things?

After i finished paying, I walked out and saw her walking slowly and looking at some of the breads located at the break stand outside the shop. DH and I then walked to the our car.

"Such a poor old lady..she looked so pityful. How come she is alone?" I said.

"Yeah..I was thinking should we ask where is she staying and we can give her a lift home."

"I was thinking the same too just now but do u think she'll take it? Shall I go down and ask her now?"

Looking at her, she slowly walked towards the 7-eleven next to the pasar mini. There was a kind boy helped her opened the door as her hands were full.

We did not go down because she seems waiting for someone. DH said she dressed quite well, she should be fine.

I really wonder who this old woman belongs to and how come her children leave her alone buying so much things and never accompany her... really make me feel sad.

I am "DOING NOTHING"!

DH met one of his old friend today. Somehow she asked about me and said,

"Wah..she is still not doing anything ar?"

I felt so disappointed and angry. What does she mean by NOT DOING ANYTHING? I am a SAHM and taking care of my DS at home, making sure dinner is ready when DH is back and the house is in order everyday. This is called "DOING NOTHING"?

Really hate those people who don't know how much work and energy are involved being a SAHM and simply comment our life. Unless DH is a millionair and have a professional nanny staying in with us and take care of DS, then I am really doing nothing and shake shake leg everyday waiting for the rice to be fed into my mouth. Sick people are all around....

Why am I here..

I need a place to share my joy,
I need a place to release my anger,
I need a place to brag about,
I need a place to console myself,
I need a place to remind myself,
I need a place to rant my frustrations,

Finally, I need a place to share all my life with all of you here without knowing WHO AM I!!!
